Birth Centenary celebrations of famous Telugu  writer, script writer and director 'Tripuraneni Gopichand' will be held on 31July, 2010 at Bangaluru amidst the splendor and festivity of his literary fans.

Tripuraneni Gopichand Birth Centenary Celebrations committee had announced the schedule of the celebrations to media. According to the press release, the programme schedule is as follows:

  • August 8, 2010 Kurnool
  • August 15,  Angaluru (his native place)
  • August 26 Guntur
  • September 5 Chennai
  • 8 September 2010 Hyderabad

Department of Culture, Andhra Pradesh, will be hosting the closing ceremony of  Birth Centerary celebrations on September 8, 2010 at Ravindrabharathi Auditorium, Hyderabad. On this occasion, all the cinema scripts of Gopichand would be brought out in a book form.

Famous artist and director 'Bapu' is developed the logo on Gopichand centenary celebrations.
