This book comes with 'Ee desam oka Himalayam' (Novel) and 'Janasandramlo Rakta Tarangam' ( a long story ).

The story of an educated girl Padmini, working as a rural social welfare worker, her tribulations, the ups and downs of her career, her bold stance taken in the case of remarriage of her widowed sister, and settling down another sister deserted by her husband and her own romance with an IAS officer. Ultimately, she remains unmarried, but decides to remain so, ready to go abroad. Ideals are like the stubborn icy pinnacles of snow only to be looked up at but not to quench the thirst of people is the essence of the title.
The other long story is about Naxalism, a real happening in Karimnagar District, many years ago. An old woman with great moral strength dares the Naxalites to shoot her. Also the story of a young girl educated in the Soviet Union and going for work in the US and how she views the entire problem. And prays for eternal peace. The latter appeared in India Today, a popular magazine.
