The book releasing function of ‘Sadgunaratna Swatantra Bharati’ was organized on 23^rd January 2009 at Ashta Lakshmi Temples’ Pravachana Mandapam in Hyderabad on occasion of 112^th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which also observed as National Patriotic Day. Sri Pingali Venkata Krishna Rao, Retired Lecturer of Shatavahana College, Vijayawada was the Chief Guest and the function was presided by Sri M.Venkata Reddy, Director (retd), Andhra Pradesh State Drug Control Authority. 

Note of the Writer

Our Country’s history and our culture are our real parents. Our attainment of Freedom is our History. That history is truthful and permanent one. Inherent in it is our Indian culture. Sanatana Dharma is the inner significant meaning in the Indian Culture. National Movement played a significant role in Indian Freedom Movement. Some people made an effort to build oneness in the Nation through National Movement. They made self-less efforts and awakened the Indian race. As part of National movement, in the region of Telugu speaking people, some people worked through Andhra Movement and some others through Andhra Literary Movement to develop National outlook and personality development with their self-less and voluntary efforts. Because of their efforts there developed awareness among the people and it has led to the liberation from the firm hands of the British and we got freedom. As part of those movements, social reform meetings, political meetings, library meetings, cooperative meetings, meetings of Ryots and problems took place. Untouchability, development of Harijans, Khadi Movement, Adult Education, Non-cooperation, Poetry writing, Avadhanas and Journalistic literature also took place.

35 years back, I have joined in Sri Satya Sai Seva Organization. I have organized some social service activities. As a Government Employee, I worked in all parts of Andhra Pradesh. Satsang and my job have given me an opportunity to meet eminent, famous and elderly figures in my life.

Intorductory wishes about the author

Mr.N.Rama Prasad studied B.Pharm and M.Pharm courses of this University and passed both the examinations in First class. He specialised in the Manufacture of Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals during his M.Pharm Course. I have come into very intimate contact with Mr.Rama Prasad while he was a student and found him to be very intelligent and hard working student. He is a very pleasant and active young man. I am quite sure he will prove himself to be an asset to any Institution whether it be an Industrial concern or Research Institute that requires Phamaceutical training.
