Moodu Satakalu
Vajha Srirama Krishna Murthy ( Sri Rama Krishna Bharadwaja) was born on 17-04-1918 in Pallekona, Repalle taluka, Guntur district. He studied up to fourth form but by self hard work he has mastered Telugu, English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages. He has served in royal Indian Army Service Corps in second world war from 1943 to 1947 in unit R I A S C [supply]. He was awarded BURMA STAR and WAR MEDAL for his war services.
Sri Vajha Subba Rao and Smt Vajha Mahalaksmamma were his parents. He married to Smt Vajha Naga Purnamba and was blessed with two sons and three daughters. His hobbies were reading and writing books. He mastered in astrology also. He was writing poems in Swatantntra magazine run by late sri Khasa Subba Rao. He died in 1986 and his wife died in 1976.
He authored Satya Sai Satakam, Soundarya Lahari, Sakala Kalyani Satakam, Ananda Lahari Satakam. He has also done Padyanuvadam of Sri Ramakrishna bodhamrutam written by Sri Chirantananda Swamy. Sri Satya Sai Satakalu was printed in 1970s.
After demobilization from the army, he could acquire neither the land promised nor a government job. He lead a difficult life until last. He has written these satakas after the demise of his wife and craved for the printing of these satakas but in vain. This book containing his three satakas has been printed in fond memory of his father by his elder son Vajha Sitarama Sarma [kamalakanth] retired from the department of telecom in 1998 and living with his children in Mumbai. He is also 70 years old. Vajha Sitarama Sarma [kamalakanth] is a known story writer of earlier times.
